Calcots!!
On Sunday the 08th of February 2009 we had a lunch at Tossuts. The food made and served was a local dish called Calcotes. It looks like a mix between a leek and a spring union. It is prepared above high flaming fires and eaten with a special sauce. Don’t ask me what is in the sauce, I do not know, I do know it contains a lot of garlic and it tastes wonderful. Due to the sauce it is very wise to eat it outside, or if you are in a restaurant they give you a bib..!!
