Cornella 2009
On Saturday the 4th of July we had a competition in Barcelona.
The competition was organized by Agility Club Cornella in cooperation with the organization for Multiple Scleroses.
As one of our team members has this illness we couldn’t say no to join in.
The match took place in the evening as it was to hot during day time (mind you it doesn’t mean it wasn’t warm in the evening.)
For today there where two rounds on the program. The first one an agility round, the second one a jumping (this is a fast round with out the contact zone obstacles).
First I started with Bob. Although we got disqualified after Bob jumping a hurdle the wrong way around, he jumped a very good round. He listened well and looked at my hands to see where he should be going to take the next obstacle. I am so proud on him!
The jumping round he didn’t do so well. We had to jump after 09.PM and for Bob that is way past bed time.. So he wasn’t really in to a bit of running around and listening, instead he thought all the smells of all these dogs where way more interesting. Obviously we got disqualified…
Tequilla on the other hand was a DRAMA! As good as she jumped the Thursday at doggie training, the worst she did here.. She didn’t listen, didn’t look at my hands nothing.. She was all over the place…
Due to this in both rounds we got disqualified almost at the beginning of the rounds…
