XI Fira Festa d’ Avinyó,
Sunday the 10th of May 2009 we had a show in d’ Avinyó
A little village on the other side of Barcelona (for us that is). It is a village further away from the sea in the mountains.
We didn’t have to leave to early from the club as the show only started at 16.30.
After driving for 2 hours we arrived in the village and the first thing we did was unload the dogs in to the shade and eat paella with the people of the village.

Around 16.00 we unpacked the van and started to put down our obstacles.
We needed to adjust it a little and after we where satisfied with it we started the show.

First I jumped with Tequilla in the agility.
She did a good round and would have been fast if I wouldn’t have been running on the wrong site of the track. But she did really well.
When Bob started he completely smashed the first hurdle and this confused me so much that half way through the track I lost it. We did finish with the right hurdle! Thank god it wasn’t a competition!!

After this we had a Cau (matches between two dogs)
Bob was competing against Fenix, and (for a change in a Cau) he started really well. This was until Fenix decided to dive in the tunnel on our site of the track… Bob thought that was FUN and did the same thing (and is what he should be doing) but he decided to turn around in the tunnel an came out the same way as he went in.. So we had to do that one again!!
The rest he did well, even the weave he did ok, but still we lost….
Tequilla was up against Judas. They both started off well, but Judas is faster then Tequilla and you could see that. Tequilla took of a crossbar of one of the hurdles and this slowed her even more down. Still we where lucky as Judas went the wrong way and by the time we where on our way back we got up with them to enter the weave at the same time; how ever Tequilla decided to enter the second entrance of the weave and we had to do this again… guess what… we lost….
